This year's conference will be a rare treat in a 5-Star resort made possible by Nemacolin's generous package price of $1,286 per couple, which includes three nights lodging and eight meals. For those who wish to extend their stay, the district is being granted a special rate $189/night for up to 3 nights before or after the conference. For those who do not wish to drive the 370 miles to Farmington, Penn., the district is picking up half the round-trip bus cost. Rotarians will wish to ride will pay only $50 per person round-trip. (Tolls alone come to $40 if you drive, Harlan said.) The district has also secured a special $15 rate for taking a bus trip/tour to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater 11 miles away. "I've been trying to get a conference here for 15 years," Harlan said, but the price was always too high. "Now you can have a 5-Star, 5-Diamond resort for the price of a 3-Star. "Or a 2-Star," added Harlan wife, Sharon, also at the Grosse Pointe Rotary luncheon. She added that Rotary business only takes up 3 hour of the day — 9 a.m. to noon —  leaving plenty of time to enjoy the spa, golf, swim, fish, shoot, go horseback riding and much more.
