Rotarian builders

ImageGrosse Pointe Rotarians spent an early Saturday morning recently helping build Habitat for Humanity homes in the Alter Road-East Warren area of Detroit.
 
Several homes are under construction on Lakepointe and Maryland Roads, and the Rotarians were happy to lend a hand stuffing insulation and doing whatever else needed to be done. When completed, the 3-bedroom homes with basement and attached 1 1/2-car garage, valued at $58,000, offer affordable, new housing for owners who would not otherwise be able to become homeowners.
