Alex Beauchamp new member presentation.
On August 6th, we were joined by our very own, Alex Beauchamp, for his new member presentation! Alex shared his incredible personal and professional journey with us.

Alex grew up in Lubbock, Texas, the youngest of three siblings, and has been a proud and avid Texas Tech fan since childhood, attending games regularly. He went on to major in political science at Carleton College. From 2009 to 2012, Alex lived in Washington, D.C., where he met his wife, Annie. In 2012, the two moved to Brooklyn, where they lived until making the move to Grosse Pointe in 2024.

Alex has long been passionate about organizing, with interests in these topics dating back to high school. He has dedicated his career to Food & Water Watch, a nonprofit fighting for safe food, clean water, and a livable climate. Over the past 16 years, Alex has risen through the ranks and now serves as Midwest Director.

Alex and Annie have a six-year-old son, James, who is entering 2nd grade at Kerby. We’re excited to welcome Alex to our club and look forward to the energy and experience he brings.
