District Governor Linda Morrow discusses upcoming plans for district 6400.
On October 8th, we were joined by District Governor Linda Morrow. Linda has been a dedicated member of Rotary since 2011 and brings great enthusiasm and vision to District 6400. Originally from Canada, she graduated from Wayne State University and was first inspired to join Rotary after a volunteer trip to India in 2011.

Linda is passionate about traveling, music, serving others, and lifelong learning. Her chosen theme for the year, “Share the Story,” encourages Rotarians to inspire others by sharing their personal journeys and the impact Rotary has had in their lives. She believes that every story matters and can motivate others to take action for good.

This year, Linda has set a personal goal to take more risks and try new things - guided by her favorite question, “When was the last time you tried something new for the first time?” She hopes to spark that same sense of courage and curiosity within others.

Linda is currently collaborating with the district board to develop new strategies for expanding and retaining membership across clubs. She is also planning a series of training conferences focused on essential leadership and communication skills, providing members with more tools to promote Rotary’s mission.

Looking ahead, District 6400 will host its conference in Frankenmuth, Michigan, May 1-3, 2026. The event will feature diverse speakers, hands-on training opportunities, and plenty of chances to connect and exchange ideas. As an added incentive, members attending their first district conference will receive $100 off registration.

Thank you, Linda, for joining us!
