Fikany Golf Outing benefits Literacy Program

The 13th Annual JAMES R. FIKANY Invitational Golf Outing sponsored by THE GROSSE POINTE ROTARY CLUB raised more than $7,000 to benefit The Jim & Jeanette Fikany Rotary Book Scholarship Fund and Rotary Literacy Initiative.
More than 75 golfers enjoyed a great day on the Lochmoor course and along with another 20+ people who came just for dinner enjoyed fellowship to further the drive to eliminate illiteracy in the City of Detroit and surrounding communities. To date, the Fikany outings have raised more than $120,000 for Grosse Pointe Rotary to use in community service projects locally and around the world.
